Student Bursaries

Each year, more families are drawn to Shambhala School because of our unique approach to education—a place where students are encouraged to grow, explore, and discover their path in the world. However, not all families are able to afford full tuition.

Thanks to the generosity of our families, alumni, and community supporters, we are able to provide financial assistance to deserving students who might not otherwise have the opportunity to attend. This support changes lives by creating a safe, nurturing environment where students can thrive.

Your contributions also ensure that we can hire and retain the best educators—dedicated professionals who guide and inspire the next generation—and maintain our historic building, which has been a cornerstone of the community for over 100 years.

Shambhala School is proud to call home a historic building over 100 years old, recognized as a registered heritage property in Halifax. Preserving this architecturally and historically significant space is an important part of our commitment to the community. From maintaining its structural integrity to ensuring it remains a safe and welcoming environment for our students, the list of needed upkeep is long.
